Our story
RouteVista started in 2022 when our founders — a transit planner and a machine-learning engineer — realized that most bus tracking systems were built for compliance reports, not for the people who actually ride the bus.
ETAs were unreliable. Maps showed ghost buses that had left the route twenty minutes ago. Parents called dispatch ten times a day asking, “Where is my child's bus?” Dispatchers, buried in calls, couldn't focus on what mattered: keeping riders safe and routes running.
We set out to build the platform we wished existed — one that combines GPS precision with modern machine learning to deliver ETAs riders actually believe. Today, RouteVista powers tracking for school districts, city transit agencies, and private shuttle operators across the country, handling millions of ETA predictions every day.
